Teachers: IPF for Your Students
Teachers, enroll your students in IPF.

To all Teachers Around the World

Today, it is possible to reach into the hearts and homes of students in almost every country in the world. International Pen Friends offers your students a unique and wonderful opportunity to learn HOW other students think and live. They can share their hobbies and interests and perhaps – at a later date, to exchange visits and experience the joy of real friendship.

The aim of International Pen Friends is to provide a channel of communication for all students, aged 10 - 17, so that they can learn to understand, respect and live in harmony with each other. IPF has over 350,000 members in 192 countries -- and provides letter writing in English, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese languages.

Through IPF, students can learn how to communicate more effectively with other students of the world. They can gain a deeper understanding of such subjects as: History, Geography, Travel, Languages, Commerce, Literature, Art and much more. Students can "show and tell" their letters to other students to further ENRICH their global learning experiences. IPF students tend to receive higher grades and become better students due to their exposure to other students around the world.

We recognize that School Principals, Teachers and Students have a vital role to play in the development of International Friendship to promote World Peace – through understanding. To help make this a reality, IPF offers a Special International Student Service. Each student will receive 4 Pen Pals for a minimal $5 fee (for processing and postage). This fee is usually funded by their parents or grandparents as a gift.

IPF also offers an International Pen Pal Magazine, "People & Places"...in which students may submit articles and photographs for publication, as well as learn from other IPF members. This is highly recommended for all Student Groups. SPECIAL BONUS: FREE one year subscription for groups of 50 or more students.
